The award was presented by the Deputy Prime Minister Ms. Soraya Saenz de Santamar\u00eda, along with the Minister of Employment and Social Security, Ms. F\u00e1tima B\u00e1\u00f1ez. The medal was awarded by the King on the proposal of minister. The emotional ceremony was held in the main lounge of the National Library. The awardee was accompanied at the ceremony, by his son the current president of Grupo Cu\u00f1ado, Mr. Carlos David Cu\u00f1ado, his wife CEO of Grupo Cu\u00f1ado, Mrs. Gloria Esteban Baturone and their daughter, Ms. Vivian Cu\u00f1ado Esteban. Surrounded at all times by counselors of Grupo Cu\u00f1ado, Mr. Angel Luis Barranco and Mr. Antonio Gal\u00e1n.
