GRUPO CUÑADO collaborates with MOTOSTUDENT UNIZAR, a motorcycling team formed by students of the Engineering and Architecture School (EINA) of the University of Zaragoza, in the 5th Edition of MotoStudent, supplying the necessary material for the structure of the testing bench, which will optimize the performance of the prototype.

The EINA team will participate in the Motostudent International Competition, which is biennially held in the Alcañiz circuit (Aragón), among universities worldwide. This competition evaluates the design of the prototype of a racing motorcycle, which is manufactured from a basic kit that Organization provides, carrying out an industrial Project that shows the technical and economical viability for its series production. MOTOSTUDENT UNIZAR team has always ranked among the best teams of the Petrol category (internal combustion engine).

CUÑADO group will strengthen its relationship with the EINA, which is responsible of the 80% R&D activity in technological field in Aragon, and which unconditionally supports this project, as it gives a high value cross-disciplinary training.

GRUPO CUÑADO is pleased to announce that BAOSTEEL, manufacturer of Special Steel products, has confirmed us as their QUALIFIED DISTRIBUTOR internationally. This new achievement represents a step forward that improves and completes, our scope of supply to satisfy our customers needs.

Both two strong leading market players at the manufacturing and distribution levels will ensure the range and availability of products and solutions in the water and wastewater areas and also for applications in dams and industry. Customers will benefit from the premium quality of VAG products as well as the enormous capacity of distribution due to GRUPO CUÑADO’s commercial network and the 18 operating warehouses available in Spain and Portugal.

Among the scope of products of VAG we could highlight: EKOplus soft-seated gate valve series, RIKO plunger control valve series, DUOJET trifunctional air valve series, EKN double-eccentric butterfly valves with the possibility of acting as guard valve with the HYSEC hydraulic brake, Howell-Bunger Hollow-Jet discharge valves, penstocks, as well as a wide catalogue of check valves, penstocks, hydrants and accessories as universal couplings for plastic piping or dismantling joints.

GRUPO CUÑADO Football 7 team has shared the League trophy they have won with our President. The squad and the coach received our President´s congratulations, who told them how proud the Company and himself were of the team we have. They have promised to bring also the Cup trophy, that will be played next week. We will keep you informed of the final result!

On June 27th, GRUPO CUÑADO was honoured to welcome TECNICAS REUNIDAS GROUP in our facilities in Alcalá de Henares. The visit was headed by  Mr. Felipe Revenga, Chief Operations Officer, who was accompanied by some of his closest team members, Ms. Ana Sánchez: Procurement Director, and Mr. Vicente Arias: Engineering and Strategic Planning Director. All of them visited our facilities in Alcalá de Henares, together with more than 30 TR engineers, technicians, designers…

The main objective of the visit was to combine synergies and consolidate GRUPO CUÑADO as strategic partner of TECNICAS REUNIDAS GROUP.

This type of meetings brings us closer to our customers, and helps us to strengthen our business relations.
