GRUPO CUÑADO branch in Peru was present at the Mining Fair PERUMIN – 33rd Mining Convention, one of the most important mining meetings in the world, held in the city of Arequipa from September 8th to 22nd. We were located in the Spanish pavilion, where we received our main clients, such as PPS, Southern Peru, Cerro Verde, FIMA, etc … and presented our main products (Piping, Valves, Heat Exchangers, which included several products of Alfa Laval, …) We want to thank the participation of our partners in this Fair for their collaboration and support.
GRUPO CUÑADO soccer teams continue to give us great satisfaction! Now, it is the turn for the Women’s soccer team that GRUPO CUÑADO BOLIVIA sponsored, since this weekend they have disputed the National Championship promoted by the Bolivian Ministry of Sports. In this Championship, the first Women´s soccer U-17 that has been held in the country, and which has been personally sponsored by President Evo Morales, have competed Tropic of Cochabamba, Santa Cruz United, City of Warnes, Tarija, Beni and Montero soccer teams. The tournament was attended by the Minister of sports of Bolivia, as well as the Mayor of Warnes. Our team won the amazing final, which was decided by penalties. CONGRATS girls!
GRUPO CUÑADO branch in Gijón has succesfully supplied an important order of Ø1200 and 800 pipe for the transportation of water and gas in the ARCELOR MITTAL Factory in Avilés (Asturias).

NAVANTIA has awarded the GRUPO CUÑADO branch in Vigo with the supply of the contract for the construction of the two AAOR vessels for the Australian Army. The supply contract includes Stainless Steel pipe and fittings, apart from an important valve package. From Grupo Cuñado headquarters, we want to congratulate all the Vigo staff for their great job!

GRUPO CUÑADO Football 7 team has shared the League trophy they have won with our President. The squad and the coach received our President´s congratulations, who told them how proud the Company and himself were of the team we have. They have promised to bring also the Cup trophy, that will be played next week. We will keep you informed of the final result!
On June 27th, GRUPO CUÑADO was honoured to welcome TECNICAS REUNIDAS GROUP in our facilities in Alcalá de Henares. The visit was headed by Mr. Felipe Revenga, Chief Operations Officer, who was accompanied by some of his closest team members, Ms. Ana Sánchez: Procurement Director, and Mr. Vicente Arias: Engineering and Strategic Planning Director. All of them visited our facilities in Alcalá de Henares, together with more than 30 TR engineers, technicians, designers…
The main objective of the visit was to combine synergies and consolidate GRUPO CUÑADO as strategic partner of TECNICAS REUNIDAS GROUP.
This type of meetings brings us closer to our customers, and helps us to strengthen our business relations.
Last June 6th, GRUPO CUÑADO organised a technical seminar in REPSOL headquarters in Madrid, where managers of different areas such as engineering, maintenance,… were involved. The course generated considerable interest and, apart from the people that were in person, many others followed it via videoconference from different REPSOL locations in Spain.
All the attending people had a very proactive attitude during the course, as it focused on very interesting practical examples.
