GRUPO CUÑADO continues our social work, supporting once again an amazing day of sports, health and education by sponsoring the 41st edition of SAN GABRIEL School Cross Country Race, in Alcalá de Henares, where GRUPO CUÑADO headquarters are located. This is one of the most traditional races of the regional season, that began as a School Cross Country and now it is a very popular competition for all ages, where many of our employees have ever run. In this occasion, one of our employees has been on the podium!!
The RED CROSS blood donation campaign in GRUPO CUÑADO has been a success. Thanks to the 38 people who donated their blood, 114 patients will be able to improve their health. The RED CROSS has congratulated our company and, specially the donors for their collaboration. This type of campaign helps to focus efforts to convey the importance of blood donation.
There are many reasons to donate: blood is a liquid tissue that cannot be manufactured, for solidarity, altruism, generosity, because anyone can need it, because blood regenerates very quickly, because donation is fast and safe , because you get a complete medical analysis, because each donation can save three lives, etc …
Searching more complete industrial solutions for our customers , GRUPO CUÑADO has signed an agreement as Official Distributor of GRUNDFOS, expanding our product portfolio. This strategic alliance allows us a greater strength in the following business areas: Wastewater, Building, Industrial solutions and Water supply. Their equipment assembles motors with efficiency levels up to IE5, above the current European regulations. With this, our customers can drastically reduce the cost of the useful life of the equipment, where normally 80% of this is the energy consumed during the use of the pump.

GRUPO CUÑADO celebrated with LA RAZON family their 20 years in the kiosks, in an act that was presided over by the Kings of Spain. Numerous personalities of the world of the politics, the economy and the culture were also there. Our warmest congratulation!
On October 18, GRUPO CUNADO USA participated in the 12th annual KBR Charity Golf Tournament in Kingwood, Texas. The event raised over $500,000, which was disbursed among several different charities in the community. GRUPO CUNADO had a team in the competition, and also hosted a hospitality tent, which served Iberico jamon, Manchego cheese, Rioja wine… in a typical Spanish tapas style. For their efforts, the hospitality tent not only brought a taste of Spain to the Golf course, they won the coveted Michelin Award for the best culinary offering of the tournament. Congratulations to KBR for a successful, well-run event!
EMERSON, a global leader in process automation, awarded our branch GRUPO CUÑADO CENTRAL EUROPE (FLABOFORM) with the BEST EUROPEAN SUPPLIER prize, due to their excellent performance in the Flanges Frame Agreement for the EMERSON mill in Cluj, Romania. GRUPO CUÑADO CENTRAL EUROPE (FLABOFORM) is our headquarters in Waghäusel (Germany), where 5 German commercial offices are managed, together with two additional ones in Poland and Czech Republic. FLABOFORM workforce is made up of more than 85 people in all its jobsites, and manages more than 10.000 references in their inventory.
ITF, Inc., GRUPO CUÑADO branch in the USA, is sponsoring a fundraising event for one of our best clients, Fluor. The event is a 3 day event, and raises money for charity through auctions and sponsor fees for a golf tournament. Last night was the first event – a 1920’s themed dinner/cocktail party that consisted of a silent auction and a regular auction. In the picture, some of our colleagues assisting to the event.
GRUPO CUÑADO expands our Training Plan for Professionals, and presents the Course called Petroleum, Natural Gas, Pipelines and Gas Pipelines, which introduces us to the concepts of the origin, exploration and oilfields exploitation, as well as hydrocarbons and their refining, storage and transportation.
